The Cardano Foundation is on a mission to promote the adoption of Cardano. Recently, they released a guide that showcases how projects on the Cardano blockchain meet the needs of businesses.

On January 23, the foundation shared findings from their research involving 582 projects. They categorized these projects into three main areas: traceability, authenticity, and sustainability.

According to their research, 30% of the projects focus on traceability. This means they work to create clear and unchangeable records that help verify both digital and physical assets. Another 15.4% emphasize sustainability. These projects support social and ecological initiatives. The largest group, making up 54.6%, is all about authenticity. They use secure methods to establish identity and legitimacy.

Frederik Gregaard, the CEO of the Cardano Foundation, explained why these three areas are so important. He said, “Traceability, authenticity, and sustainability are critical in today’s blockchain ecosystem. These areas show how Cardano can tackle real-world challenges.”

He went on to say that traceability is key for transparency and meeting regulations. This helps to build trust with consumers. Authenticity protects sensitive information, especially in finance and healthcare. Sustainability aligns with global environmental goals, creating a positive impact. Gregaard noted, “Together, these areas drive innovation and offer solutions for a fairer and more sustainable world.”

The research also highlighted Cardano's global reach. About 70% of the projects are aimed at international markets. Gregaard pointed out that this reflects the platform's ability to support various applications worldwide. He stated, “Approximately 70% of the projects are designed for international deployment. This shows both geographical reach and a shift in how blockchain technology is used.”

Gregaard expressed his excitement about how these projects are changing global supply chains. They track assets from their origin to the end consumer using verification methods. He concluded, “These findings reinforce our belief that blockchain technology can address critical global challenges and create meaningful change across industries and borders.”
