Michaël van de Poppe, a crypto strategist, believes Bitcoin (BTC) is on the verge of hitting new all-time highs (ATHs). He tells his 723,200 followers on X that if Bitcoin bounces up by just 2.25%, it could reach a new ATH by early September.

“It feels great to see the market breaking out. Bitcoin is moving up, approaching the final resistance at $62,000. If it breaks that, we’re likely looking at a new ATH in September. I expect a lot of positive inflows from the ETF data,” he says. “If Bitcoin crosses $62,000, we might see a new all-time high in less than two weeks.”

Right now, Bitcoin is trading at $60,636, showing a slight dip in the last 24 hours.

Van de Poppe also mentions Ethereum (ETH). He points out that if ETH flips a key resistance level into support, it could signal a bullish trend for altcoins. “Ethereum looks fantastic, but it needs to keep climbing. The crucial level to break is $2,700. There’s nothing between $2,700 and $3,100, which could trigger a big upward move for altcoins,” he explains.

He remains optimistic about ETH as long as it stays above $2,500. “All ETH needs to do is hold above that important area of $2,500. If it does and momentum returns through the ETF, the next target will be $3,150. It feels good to be back in an upward trend,” he adds.

Currently, Ethereum is priced at $2,619, also experiencing a slight decline today.
