Delabs Games, a South Korean game developer, is making an exciting move. They plan to bring the popular role-playing game franchise Ragnarok to Telegram in the first quarter of 2025. This shift shows their commitment to the growing crypto gaming scene on the messaging platform.

The new version of Ragnarok will focus on maze exploration. It will also include social features designed specifically for Telegram. This approach makes the game more engaging for players.

Delabs is not just stopping at Ragnarok. They are also adapting the mobile game Boxing Star for Telegram, set to launch in the third quarter of 2025. So far, Boxing Star has over 70 million downloads on mobile platforms. That’s a huge achievement!

Joonmo Kwon, the CEO of Delabs Games, shared his thoughts on this strategy. He said, “Bringing Ragnarok to Telegram is a bold step for us. We want to connect well-known IPs and mid-core games with players where they already are.” He emphasized that they aim to stay true to the original game while adding Web3 features without making it complicated.

It’s important to note that Delabs' Ragnarok game will be different from Ragnarok: Monster World. The latter launched on the Ethereum gaming network Ronin this year. That game offers a strategic mobile action experience similar to Clash Royale, a hit from Supercell.

Before this pivot, Delabs tested Telegram gaming with their baseball-themed game "Giga Chad Bat," which launched in July. Their parent company, 4:33 Creative Lab, has previously integrated games like Blade and Hero into platforms like Kakao in South Korea.

Delabs has also released Rumble Racing Star, a PC racing game reminiscent of Mario Kart. Additionally, they are working on exciting new projects called Metabolts and Space Frontier.
