Robert Kennedy Jr. has decided to step out of the U.S. presidential race. He’s backing Republican nominee Donald Trump.

In a speech to the nation, Kennedy explained his choice. He believes supporting Trump is crucial for the future of America’s children. He said, “I asked myself what choices must I make to maximize my chances to save America’s children and restore national health.”

He continued, “If I refused this opportunity, I wouldn’t be able to look myself in the mirror, knowing I could have saved countless lives and reversed this country’s disease epidemic.” Kennedy expressed his hope that Trump will follow through on his promises. He added, “My joining the Trump campaign will be a difficult sacrifice for my wife and children, but it’s worth it if there’s even a small chance of saving these kids.”

Kennedy emphasized, “The only thing that will save our country and our children is if we choose to love our kids more than we hate each other.”

As an independent candidate, Kennedy attended the Bitcoin2024 Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. There, he shared his vision for the U.S. government to acquire and hold four million BTC as a “strategic asset.” He proudly stated he is “a huge supporter of Bitcoin” and that most of his wealth is invested in BTC.

Donald Trump, who once criticized cryptocurrencies, has shifted his stance. Now, he’s positioning himself as a pro-digital asset candidate. At the Bitcoin2024 Conference, Trump promised to prevent the government from selling its seized BTC on the open market. Instead, he wants officials to keep it as an investment.

Trump also mentioned using cryptocurrency to tackle the national debt, which stands at $35 trillion. He joked, “Who knows, maybe we’ll pay off our $35 trillion debt, hand ’em a little crypto check, right? We’ll hand ’em a little Bitcoin and wipe out our $35 trillion.”
