On October 16, 2024, Anthony Scaramucci, the CEO of SkyBridge Capital, shared details about his significant investments in Bitcoin (BTC/USD), the largest cryptocurrency out there.
During a chat with popular podcaster Natalie Brunell, Scaramucci talked about his conversation with MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor. While writing his book, "The Little Book of Bitcoin," which Saylor wrote the foreword for, Scaramucci recalled being asked by a fellow Bitcoin supporter how much he owned in Bitcoin.
He said, "55% of my net worth is tied up in Bitcoin." He added, "I haven’t sold any Bitcoin, thank God, knock on wood!"
Initially, Scaramucci suggested that people allocate about 1-3% of their portfolio to Bitcoin. But after Saylor asked him to mention his own investment, he changed his wording.
According to Amazon, the book is a guide to understanding how digital asset technology impacts finance. It covers basic concepts like blockchain, hashes, and mining.
Scaramucci is a passionate advocate for Bitcoin. Last month, he predicted that Bitcoin could reach between $150,000 and $200,000 as more people invest. Saylor, another big supporter, holds nearly $1 billion in Bitcoin and plans to buy even more.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading at $67,622.70, showing a 0.47% increase in the last 24 hours, according to Benzinga Pro.
In other news, Elizabeth Warren commented on John Deaton's plans to go to Washington to advocate for his "crypto buddies." A Republican responded, saying that Deaton is actually more upset with crypto billionaires than anyone else.
