The TON Hacker House in Bangkok was a big hit. Organized by TONX, TON Society, and co-hosted by TOX, Yescoin, and MEXC, the event attracted over 3,400 registered attendees. Developers, innovators, and industry leaders came together to share ideas and collaborate.
Held on November 14, this event showcased the impressive growth of the TON ecosystem. It was supported by more than 50 sponsors and partners. Over 300 developers participated in the hackathon, resulting in more than 70 demo submissions.
The event kicked off with a memorable paper airplane ceremony led by key figures like Steve Yun, president of the TON Foundation, Wego, co-founder of TONX, and Paul V., managing partner at Pantera Capital. Wego highlighted the growth of Telegram, now boasting 950 million users, and how it fuels the TON ecosystem. He stated, “TONX is committed to supporting the ecosystem’s growth, driving mutual success for all.” Paul V. expressed strong confidence in TON, while Steve Yun discussed its potential in PayFi and DeFi sectors.
Industry leaders gathered to share insights on the future of the TON ecosystem. They discussed upcoming opportunities and challenges for the last quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025. Keynote speakers included Dr. Awesome Doge, co-founder of TONX; Ekin Tuna, co-founder of TON Society; and others.
One session, “Unlocking TON DeFi: Integration, Liquidity, and Cross-Asset Growth,” explored DeFi's potential within the TON ecosystem. It featured speakers like Tim Nugent, a senior DeFi engineer at GSR, and Calvin Chu, a core builder at Impossible Finance. Moderated by Birchnut, founder of KTON, this session focused on the future of decentralized finance.
Another session, “Meme Revolution on TON: Redefining Community & Value,” discussed the role of memes in the ecosystem. Speakers included Tyrelle, CTO Lead at TON CAT, and Larry, CTO Lead at Sadmeow. Pukerainbow, founder of Pukecast, moderated the discussion, emphasizing how memes shape community engagement and value.
The session “Play, Social, Earn: The Synergy of Gaming, Memes, and DeFi Projects on TON” brought together key speakers like John from Yescoin and Wego from TONX. Moderated by Yy, listing head at MEXC, this session highlighted the intersection of gaming, social interaction, and decentralized finance.
TONX API, a leading provider of TON APIs and RPC infrastructure, announced partnerships with industry leaders such as Blum, Catizen, and Google Cloud. Weiyi, the tech lead of TONX API, unveiled an exciting roadmap for 2025. This includes the launch of a new version of TONX API, featuring enhancements like TONX.js, a JavaScript SDK.

- League: A feature providing free and accelerated transactions across the TONX ecosystem, improving user efficiency.

The Hackathon Demo was a standout feature, showcasing innovative projects from developers worldwide. With a prize pool of $1.2 million, this event encouraged significant Web3 development and technological innovation.
Judges included Inal K. from TON Ventures and Dr. Awesome Doge from TONX. The hackathon attracted over 300 global developers, resulting in more than 70 demo projects. GameFi projects made up 45.1%, while DeFi projects accounted for 39.4%. The final demo featured 20 teams, including All At Once, Televerse, and more.
