Valhalla, a play-to-earn MMORPG developed by Floki, just announced an exciting partnership in the UAE. On November 13, 2024, they revealed their collaboration with Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates. This marks a significant step in their global outreach efforts.

During this partnership, Valhalla's branding will be showcased on 93 screens throughout the mall. The campaign runs for four weeks, from November 15 to December 12. The Mall of the Emirates is a top shopping destination in Dubai, known for its prestige and appeal. Since opening in 2005, it has attracted millions of visitors every year.

The mall sees around 111,500 visitors daily. This makes it a fantastic venue for Valhalla to connect with a diverse audience. Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, the mall is perfectly positioned to engage both locals and tourists.

Spanning 255,489 square meters, the multi-level mall features over 630 retail outlets, including 80 luxury stores and 250 flagship stores. It also offers popular attractions like Ski Dubai, Magic Planet, and VOX Cinemas. Plus, with more than 100 restaurants and cafés, it’s a go-to destination for dining and entertainment.

The goal of this campaign is to strengthen Valhalla’s presence in the UAE. This region is crucial for crypto adoption. Even with a smaller population, the UAE ranks as the third-largest crypto economy in the MENA region. Between July 2023 and June 2024, there were $34 billion in crypto transactions. That’s a remarkable 42% growth year-over-year, far exceeding the MENA average of 11.7%, according to Chainalysis.

Dubai’s rapid rise as a crypto hub is driven by initiatives like the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA). These organizations provide a welcoming regulatory environment for crypto businesses. As a result, major players and startups are flocking to Dubai, solidifying its status as a global leader in the crypto space. Valhalla’s campaign at the Mall of the Emirates fits perfectly into this growing momentum.

By showcasing its brand in one of Dubai’s busiest spots, Floki aims to boost awareness and adoption of its ecosystem. This campaign follows a recent four-week marketing initiative at Wafi Mall in Dubai, running from November 8 to December 5, where Valhalla’s branding appeared on 18 digital screens. Together, these efforts are part of Floki’s strategy to establish a strong presence in the Dubai crypto market.
