Visa has teamed up with Coinbase to make real-time crypto transfers possible with eligible Visa debit cards. This new feature is available for customers in the U.S. and the European Union.

Now, Visa cardholders can link their debit cards to Coinbase accounts. This means they can deposit funds almost instantly. The announcement came from both companies on Tuesday.

But that's not all! Users can also buy or sell cryptocurrencies directly on Coinbase using their Visa debit cards. This makes investing in crypto much easier, especially for those who might not know much about it.

“We’re excited to partner with Coinbase to help their customers move money,” said Yanilsa Gonzalez Ore, Visa Direct's Head in North America. This feature lets eligible Visa debit card holders take advantage of trading opportunities any time of day or night.

One big challenge in the crypto world has been connecting traditional financial services with tech-savvy crypto options. This gap often makes it hard for everyday users to enjoy the benefits of new innovations.

Recently, clearer regulations in the European Union, like the Markets in Crypto-Assets Act (MiCA) introduced earlier this year, have provided companies with better guidelines. This clarity could encourage more businesses to expand in the EU, possibly affecting growth in the U.S.
